Ivan's Auto Recycling, LLC

Ivan's will pick up your junk car for free, or pay you, by the ton, when you bring it to him for recycling. Ivan's also buys scrap metal. Call for details.

The following items are accepted at the recycle center:
Aluminum: Cans only. No foil or pie plates. Some cat food and other containers are aluminum. Test with a magnet - won't stick to aluminum.
Cardboard: Corrugated cardboard only. No cereal box material or waxed/plastic coated corrugated boxes. Remove packing material.
Glass: Separate by color - Brown, Green or Clear. Blue can go with green. No caps or lids, please.
Newspaper: Newsprint and inserts. (If it came with the newspaper, it can be recycled with it). Catalogs and magazines are not accepted. Save these for the monthly paper drive, held the third Saturday of the month in front of the post office in Moab. Details below.
Paper, white and mixed office: Copy, computer, laser computer, notebook papers, business forms, bills and stationary, colored ledger paper, envelopes (white or colored), carbonless paper, pamphlets and brochures, opened and sorted direct mailings. No glossy material.
Plastic containers: Plastics marked #1 - #7. Please use care to put the proper numbered plastic in the proper receptacle. Please rinse containers; as always, no caps or plastic bags.
Steel (Tin) cans: Rinse cans when possible.
The center is permitting a private individual to collect big chunks of styrofoam for a building project. Upon entering the center you will see the two collection containers for the styrofoam near the cardboard pile. No styrofoam dishes or cups please.
Have a spare hour or two? Volunteer at the Recycle Center in Moab.

The United States Post Office in Moab, Canyonlands Community Recycling, and Solutions of Moab have teamed up to offer you the opportunity to recycle items collected by Rocky Mountain Recycling in front of the Moab post office on the third Saturday of the month. We're there from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Bring us magazines, catalogs, soft or hardback books, toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, drink carriers, cereal box cardboard and the like. No plastic wrap or spirals, please remove those. No food stained items either. The post office "backhauls" this paper to a Provo area post office that Rocky Mountain Recycling collects from. Hope to see you at the next drive.
